Jane Fonda's Latest Workout DVD Is Aimed At Seniors

The original Jane Fonda Workout released in the 1980's sold 17 million copies and helped usher in the home fitness craze. Fonda's new series is aimed at seniors and emphasizes low-impact exercise over intense aerobics. The fitness maven is 72.

That's a phrase many will remember from the 1980s. And the fitness star from that era is back in business. The original�"Jane Fonda's Workout" sold 17 million copies, and helped usher in the home fitness craze. This week, Fonda released a new video on DVD.

Ms. JANE FONDA (Actor, Fitness Instructor): I want to make it as simple and safe and effective as possible. And particularly videos for people who are 50, 60, 70, 80 - you know, they're moving along, like I am.

MONTAGNE: Yes. Now that fitness maven is 72, and she's emphasizing low-impact exercise over intense aerobics. But for those who fondly remember that burn, we leave you with some classic Jane Fonda.
