Taking his name from his hometown of Langhorne, Penn., singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim brings his band to Mountain Stage for the first time to play songs from his latest album, Be Set Free.
In addition to wearing down the tires on their touring van opening for The Avett Brothers, Paleface and many more, the group has performed at just about every major festival across the country.
Slim moved to Brooklyn for school, and remained there for seven years. Three years ago, he moved to California, where he makes his home the few months of the year he doesn't spend touring
This Mountain Stage concert originally aired on January 14, 2010.
