Georgia Permit Waived For Flying Reindeer

Good morning. I'm Don Gonyea, with holiday news from the State of Georgia. Agriculture commissioner Tommy Irwin has issued a permit to allow flying reindeer to land in the state on Christmas Eve. The permit waives routine veterinary inspections required for border-crossing animals. Commissioner Irwin says: I concluded these reindeer do not violate any of our biosecurity measures and will not intermingle with any livestock in our state. Well, let's hope.
