German-Russian author Alina Bronsky recently discussed her new novel, Broken Glass, at the Goethe Institut in Washington, DC.

She reads excerpts from the novel and elucidates the process of writing a novel chronicling the development of a young woman in a foreign land.

The discussion is hosted by author Lane Jennings.
