Damaged Metrodome Forces Vikings Outside
DON GONYEA, host:
Good morning. I'm Don Gonyea. Call them the nomads of the frozen North, wandering aimlessly in search of a football stadium. When snow caved in the roof of the Metrodome in Minneapolis, the Minnesota Vikings moved last weekend's game to Detroit. For its next game the team will use the football stadium at nearby University of Minnesota. But snow removal there is going slowly. A bigger concern to some fans: it's a college-owned field. That means no beer sales.
It's MORNING EDITION.
