Double Take 'Toons May: Tea Party Wins

NPR Double Take's month-by-month year in review:

This May conservative activists known as the Tea Party were riding high with exciting primary wins. Ophthalmologist Rand Paul defeated his opponent Trey Grayson in the Kentucky Republican Senate primary, and Senator Bob Bennett (R-UT) was deemed not conservative enough for his state convention, which ousted him.     

Mike Keefe and Nate Beeler offer a strong brew to the primary victors.
