Dolled up in 1940s fashion and singing jazzy three-part harmonies, the Puppini Sisters are one of the classiest troupes around. The U.K. trio is reminiscent of '40s darlings The Andrews Sisters on classic tunes like "Mr. Sandman" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."
But reviving tunes of yesteryear isn't the only trick in their extensive repertoire. The sisters also take on Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights," Blondie's "Heart of Glass," and Beyonce's "Crazy In Love."
The group's first album, Betcha Bottom Dollar, is full of instrumental flourishes to back their lush harmonies, and instantly became a marker of the neo-Burlesque movement upon its release.
Several albums later, the girls present a handful of holiday favorites on Christmas With the Puppini Sisters, from the traditional "White Christmas" to the sassy pop of "Santa Baby."
