Seattle band The Head and the Heart generated a lot of buzz in 2010 with its self-titled debut album. The group borrows harmonies from Crosby Stills Nash & Young and applies them to uplifting, upbeat indie-rock stompers.

World Cafe host David Dye kicks off the "World Cafe: Next" series in 2011 with two songs from the band's 2010 album: "Coeur D'Alene" and "Sounds Like Hallelujah."
