Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' husband, Mark Kelley, was the commander on the Space Shuttle Discovery in 2008. It was Giffords who selected a song by one of her favorite band's, Calexico, as the wakeup call for the crew members on the flight. Calexico has also played at a number of Giffords' campaign events. The band's lead singer, Joey Burns, talks about playing for Giffords.
