Denton, Texas' Sarah Jaffe is no stranger to NPR Music. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter has had two of her songs featured in the Song Of The Day series and she performed a great studio session at KUT in her sister city of Austin.

Now, World Cafe, admittedly, is playing a little catchup. Host David Dye selected two tracks from her debut album — last year's Suburban Nature — for this week's "World Cafe: Next" installment: the subtle yet epic "Clementine" and the soaring "Better Than Nothing."
