British Prime Minister David Cameron is cutting government but adding one job to the payroll. The new hire is Larry, a tabby cat. He's been appointed the official cat of 10 Downing Street, the prime minister's residence. Animal shelter workers recommended Larry to deal with a well-publicized rat problem. But on his first day at work, according to the Telegraph newspaper, Larry mainly fell asleep on the sofa.
