Solas and two of its former members — Karan Casey and John Doyle — are featured in this retrospective set of performances compiled by Mountain Stage host Larry Groce in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day.

John Doyle starts the segment with a performance from 2005 recorded in Shepherdstown, W. Va. He performs the standard "Wild Colonial Boy," accompanied by fiddler Duncan Wickel. The performance of "Farewell to Glasgow" by Seamus Egan & Solas was recorded in 1995, and Karan Casey performed her two songs while visiting the show in 2001. "Ballad of Accountint" was written by Ewan McColl and "Buile Mo Chrot" was written by John Spillane and Louis De Paor.
