Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer.

A Radio Shack electronics store in Hamilton, Montana has a deal that's going over with a bang. New customers sign up for a Dish Network satellite service and get a certificate for a free gun from a nearby gun store. A pistol or a shotgun, your choice. Plus, a criminal background check, no extra charge. Store owner says business has tripled. If you don't want a gun you can take a $50 gift card for Pizza Hut.

It's MORNING EDITION.
