Grouplove embodies the Southern California pop sound that's been emanating from bands such as Best Coast, Wavves and more for the past few years. Its song "Naked Kids" is an undeniable summer jam that captures the feeling of driving fast with the windows down along the West Coast without a care in the world — and that's just one of the best songs from the group's fun and ingratiating new EP.
The band made its U.S. live radio debut on Morning Becomes Eclectic at the end of February, and we were instantly impressed with Grouplove's musical camaraderie — it's a tight collective with poppy harmonies, catchy choruses and bursts of positive energy. Now is a great chance to get familiar with the L.A. outfit, before its debut full-length comes out and helps Grouplove break big.
