Forget about ferrets. The latest pet in Britain is the skunk. Apparently the animal can be trained not to cause a stink. Breeders say about 2,000 are now kept as pets.

Forget about ferrets. The new trendy pet in Britain is the skunk. Apparently the animal can be trained not to cause a stink. Breeders say about 2,000 are now kept as pets. Katie Sleightholme told the Daily Mail she's teaching her skunk, Busby, to walk on a leash. She says Busby follows her small children around and plays well with her other pets: 13 guinea pigs, three rabbits, two hamsters and two dogs.
