Knoxville, Tennessee's Jill Andrews performed on a special edition of Mountain Stage, recorded at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Bristol, Tenn./Va. The concert was held in conjunction with the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance, which was celebrating the release of a new box set, The Bristol Sessions: The Big Bang of Country Music.

Andrews, who attended nearby Eastern Tennessee State University, has made two appearances on Mountain Stage as part of the alt-folk duo The Everybodyfields. She performs some of her heartfelt solo material, accompanied by former Everybodyfields bandmate Josh Oliver on piano and electric guitar, Vince Ilagan on bass and Chad Melton on drums. Her forthcoming solo full-length, The Mirror, is due in June.

This segment originally aired on May 4th, 2011
