Assisted Living Regulations Fall Short In Florida

Florida was one of the first states to regulate assisted living facilities, establishing legislation to protect some of the state's most vulnerable citizens. But a collaborative investigation by the Miami Herald and WLRN raised questions about cases of abuse and deaths in Florida facilities.
