Among the healthy Pacific Northwest contingent at the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival were the scuzzy psych rockers of Black Mountain. At once driving and spaced-out, bruising and blissful, and featuring both male and female lead vocals, the Vancouver band has put out three full-length records, growing more sonically diverse with each one. On the heels of 2010's Wilderness Heart, Black Mountain came down the freeway and across the Cascades to play a mid-afternoon set on the final day of Sasquatch.
Recorded live at The Gorge on Monday, May 30, Black Mountain performs here as part of the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival outside Seattle, Wash.
