Robyn Hitchcock knows no trends. In the mid-'70s, when punk was all the underground rage in England, his band The Soft Boys played psychedelic folk-rock and inspired the likes of R.E.M. and Camper Van Beethoven. Long into his solo career with various backing bands (The Egyptians, The Venus 3), Hitchcock continues to carry psychedelic music's swirling torch. Hitchcock currently pursues a film and art career in addition to his eclectic and ever-expanding discography.

KUT reflects Austin's diverse live music scene: Americana, rock, folk, jazz, and blues.
