Over the past 15 years, No Te Va Gustar has played its way from humble high-school garage trio to nine-piece international sensation — an ironic fate, perhaps, for a band whose name means "you're not gonna like it." For nearly a decade, NTVG has been a definitive group in the Uruguayan rock scene, wowing audiences and topping charts throughout South America. This year, it's poised on the brink of getting even bigger, thanks to its first official U.S. release.

Por Lo Menos Hoy (released last October in South America) showcases the band's crowd-pleasing fusion style, combining elements of rock, reggae, candombe, salsa and ska. Check out two songs from the album on this episode of "World Café: Next."
