Secret Sisters' Laura and Lydia Rogers have already won over some influential characters in the music business: Their first album came out on Jack White's Third Man Records label, and they've scored high-profile endorsements from the likes of Elvis Costello and T-Bone Burnett. The Alabama duo's throwback folk-country sound is made for the Rogers sisters' almost otherworldly harmonizing — clearly the result of both endless practice and the blessings of blood relation. Secret Sisters will showcase a mix of country classics and originals from an album called Silver Threads and Golden Needles at the 2011 Newport Folk Festival in Newport, R.I.
