New York Jets coach Rex Ryan got a tattoo on his right calf because, he said, he "just felt like it." The black swirling lines look like waves crashing on a beach. He's challenging people to guess what the tattoo means. The outspoken coach posted a photo of his calf on the Jets' Facebook page Monday and says he'll reveal the answer Tuesday.

STEVE INSKEEP, host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan would like you to look at his leg. He got a tattoo on his right calf. The black, swirling lines look like waves crashing on a beach. And he is challenging people to guess what the tattoo means. The outspoken coach posted a photo of his calf on the Jets Facebook page on Monday, and says he will reveal the answer to the tattoo today. The only real clue to its origin is that he got in Hawaii because, quote, "I just felt like it."

It's MORNING EDITION.
