Led by the stylish and energetic Tiffany Preston, the wildly eclectic L.A. trio Rainbow Arabia tangles any given performance space with a maze of gears and wires and all manner of instruments. The result of all that wrangling and multitasking is a wide spectrum of sound that mixes '80s new wave with Arabic and North African styles.

From this session at the KEXP studios, I came away knowing firsthand that Rainbow Arabia is passionate about experimenting and putting its music out there for the world to enjoy. I can't imagine seeing the band live and not walking away smiling and worn out from dancing to every song.
