Danish singer-songwriter Tina Dico has earned her share of successes, all of which she achieved without the help of a major record label. In 2003, Dico won a Danish Music Award for Songwriter of the Year and Danish music critics voted her Composer of the Year. Shortly after, she joined British electronic duo Zero 7 on an international tour that included over 100 dates and Glastonbury Festival. Dico's 2005 album, In The Red, shot to No. 1 on the Danish album charts, beating out prominent acts like U2 and Coldplay.

Since her 2006 appearance on Mountain Stage, Dico has relocated to London and released four more albums, including 2008's Count to Ten.
