Vetiver's latest album, Errant Charm, was born — musically speaking — in a Los Angeles studio and raised on the streets of San Francisco, where singer Andy Cabic wrote most of the lyrics. The result, not surprisingly, sounds like a Southern California album, with a focus on upbeat folk and memorable melodies. Its songs come alive in this full-band set recorded at Village Studios — it's the sound of a band really hitting its stride.
