The Land of 10,000 Lakes is being rebranded. Fast Company reports Nicole Meyer missed Minnesota's lakes when she moved away to Phoenix. She's keeping her Midwest roots in mind by designing logos for EACH Minnesota lake. She creates one per day, meaning she will finish in 27 years.

STEVE INSKEEP, host: Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes is being rebranded. Fast Company reports Nicole Meyer missed Minnesota's lakes when she moved away to Phoenix. She's a designer, so she's keeping her Midwestern roots in mind by designing logos for each Minnesota lake. She creates one per day, meaning she will finish in 27 years. Some logos feature elegant text, others a little more visceral. The logo for Dead Coon Lake features exactly what the name says. It's MORNING EDITION.
