An inventor who applied for a patent for his snowman machine five years ago finally got it this month. He asked in his application, "Can't somebody build a better snowman?" His machine uses an electric charge, that helps snow cling to spheres, which can be stacked up to 8 feet.

Good morning. I'm David Greene. Oh, the charm of a walk in the wintertime, wandering the neighborhood, seeing different shapes and sizes of snowmen. Well, one inventor says the snowmen of the world can be more perfect. His machine uses an electric charge that helps snow cling to spheres which can be stacked up to eight feet. In his patent application, he asked: Can't somebody build a better snowman? He applied five years ago, and this month, he was granted his snowman patent. It's MORNING EDITION.
