Erika Goldring/Getty ImagesOn Oct. 13, NPR Music and Folk Alley return to Nashville to present a live webcast of the Americana Music Association's 10th Annual Honors and Awards show from the Ryman Auditorium. The event will feature live performances by this year's Lifetime Achievement Award recipients — Lucinda Williams, Jerry Douglas and Gregg Allman — as well as many of the award nominees, including Robert Plant, The Civil Wars, Justin Townes Earle, Hayes Carll, Elizabeth Cook and more.
NPR Music's Ann Powers and Folk Alley's Jessie Scott will host the live webcast. Join us on Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) to listen to the event.
This mix features all of 2011's AMA Honors and Awards recipients and nominees, plus a sampling of artists performing at the Americana Music Festival, taking place around the city of Nashville in five venues on Oct. 12-15.
