ARI SHAPIRO, HOST:

Good morning, I'm Ari Shapiro. An eight-foot man recently washed ashore on a Florida beach - a Lego man, that is. He looks like his smaller toy counterparts with a round yellow head on a blocky green body. It seems to be the work of a Dutch artist who has staged other Lego man appearances around the world. A Lego spokeswoman told the L.A. Times: I wish we could say we did it. It was a brilliant guerilla PR stunt. For now, the giant toy is in protective custody at the local sheriffs' office. It's MORNING EDITION.
