Surgeons In Heat On 'World Cafe: Next'
Playlist
- "Better On Your Own"
- "Storms Are Passing Over"
The Wisconsin natives in Surgeons in Heat have a reputation for bright songs like those on a self-titled EP from this past April. Recorded in just a week, the EP has built buzz for the young band's beautifully crafted summertime hooks.
After contributing to a tribute album based on Wilco's Summerteeth, the band found its sound. Members Johnathon Mayer, Tyler Ditter, Kenny Monroe and Shawn Pierce effortlessly weave together hints of R&B, easygoing beats and catchy indie rock. Hear Surgeons in Heat's exuberance and effortless chemistry on this installment of World Cafe: Next.
