Two American icons, Hostess Bakeries, the maker of Twinkies, and Kodak, have respectively, filed or are close to filing for Chapter 11. Have American consumers moved on from the products that once made the companies great? Joe Heller thinks we'll never really run out of Twinkies, while Karl Wimer wonders whether Kodak can use a bankruptcy filing to return to life.
