KCRW Presents: Penguin Prison
Penguin Prison's new, self-titled album is out now.
Set List
Penguin Prison's '80s influences are never more apparent than during this live session, which showcases singer Chris Glover's Michael Jackson-style yelps and pitch-perfect falsetto. Here, the band treats us to a set of songs from its new self-titled album, including a clean version of the track that became a sort of anthem for the Occupy movement: "Don't F— With My Money." (It was changed to "Don't Fuss With My Money" for our purposes.) The band also performs a version of Lana Del Rey's track "Blue Jeans."
