Forget Batman Vs. Superman: The Dynamic Duo Of The Moment Is Lin Vs. Tebow

The meteoric rise of New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has echoes of Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback who caused such a stir last fall. Of course, Tebow was a college superstar at the University of Florida, while Lin played amid the Ivy at Harvard. But the similarities are striking: Both started as benchwarmers on struggling teams. Both emerged as overnight sensations. And both play the key position that turned their teams (at least so far) into winners. The parallels extend far past the sports pages: They're both evangelical Christians — one whose post-touchdown "Tebowing" spawned a sensation. And as the first American-born Taiwanese player in the NBA, Lin's on his way to becoming a cultural icon in Asia. Here's how they stack up, on the field and off.

* Lin did not start this game, but played more minutes than any other starter.
