The Walkmen In Concert
Pete Donnelly is this week's Live Friday performer.
February 3, 2012The Philadelphia local has made his first solo album after a decade of success as a high-profile producer and sideman.
After a prolific, 10-year career as a producer and sideman for such high profile groups as Amos Lee, G. Love and Special Sauce, and The Figgs, Philadelphian Pete Donnelly has released When You Come Home, his first solo album. The album is chock-full of poppy, sing-a-long hooks, crisp vocals, and plenty of love songs and ballads. Donnelly proves, on both his album and this installment of WXPN's Live Friday concerts, that he can write music from the heart that gets stuck in your head.
