DAVID GREENE, HOST:

Good morning. I'm David Greene. Authorities in Kentucky are investigating a traffic accident with a sweet ending. A tractor trailer swerved to avoid a car and it hit an overpass along Interstate 75. No one was seriously hurt, but the semi split in half and its entire payload was dumped all over the road or maybe drizzled. Log Cabin pancake syrup covered the highway for hours, yet it all seemed to make sense. Remember the overpass, the road that the truck hit? It's called Buttermilk Pike. It's MORNING EDITION.
