Double Take 'Toons: A New Lease On Life?
The Senate's top Democrat and Republican say they've reached a deal to prevent some federal student loan rates from doubling. The pressure is now on House Republicans to agree to the deal before the July 4 recess, when rates are set to jump. No matter what happens, Matt Wuerker thinks there are bigger problems with student loans than the federal rate, and Jeff Danziger is worried about what else happens to students after they graduate.
