In two 5-4 rulings Wednesday, the Supreme Court declared the Defense Of Marriage Act unconstitutional and cleared the way for gay marriages in California — but sidestepped the legality of same-sex marriages on a broader scale. Before the decisions were issued, Jen Sorensen and Chip Bok imagined an anti-DOMA ruling.
