Double Take 'Toons: July 2013

It's been a tumultuous and exciting year. To mark its end, NPR Double Take will be recapping the biggest news events, going month by month to bring you the best cartoons on the issues.

Mohamed Morsi was deposed by Egypt's military and George Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin. Tom Janssen could not resolve whether Morsi's removal would help or hurt the cause of freedom, while Bob Englehart despaired whether anything would be learned in the aftermath of Zimmerman's trial.
