The President told the New Yorker that smoking marijuana is "a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy" but that he didn't think it was "more dangerous than alcohol." Dave Granlund thinks the President's statement has been misinterpreted as supporting the drug, while Pat Bagley argues that some of the unintended consequences of legalization could be to the good.
