We'll hear how some communities are experimenting with free community college. We go to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where students can get two years of higher education for free.

RENEE MONTAGNE, HOST:

We have been talking a lot about the cost of college on this program lately and the difficulty some graduates face paying off student loans. Tomorrow, we'll hear how some places are experimenting with free community college.

SARA GOLDRICK-RAB: It's time to make some version, some kind of piece of higher education really and truly affordable to Americans as we think about the future of our economy.

MONTAGNE: That's education expert Sara Goldrick-Rab. NPR's Claudio Sanchez will take us to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where students can get two years of higher education for free. Now other places might follow Tulsa's lead. That's tomorrow, right here on MORNING EDITION from NPR News.
