Death Row Records Co-Founder Involved In Fatal Hit-And-Run

The attorney for Marion "Suge" Knight says his client plans to turn himself in to authorities after he accidentally ran over and killed a friend and injured another man as he fled attackers in Compton, Calif.

Authorities are investigating Thursday's incident as a homicide.

Los Angeles County sheriffs say it looks like Knight's pickup truck backed over the victims and then drove forward and struck them again.

The empty truck was found Thursday night in a Los Angeles parking lot.

Death Row Records was a leading rap label in the 1990s.

It was founded by Tracy "The D.O.C." Lynn Curry, Andre "Dr. Dre" Young, Knight and Richard Gilbert "Dick" Griffey.

It featured artists such as Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg.
