The NPR Foundation, established in 1992, enhances current and long-term financial support for NPR, in support of the NPR mission to create a more informed public.
It also actively works to strengthen and expand the fundraising success of the NPR Member Stations and supports nationwide recognition and celebration of the generous donors dedicated to public media.
The business and affairs of the NPR Foundation are managed by a 60-member Board of Trustees, made up of NPR supporters from across the nation. The NPR Foundation secures, through excellent stewardship of its endowment, a strong and stable future for NPR.
