About Intern Edition
Welcome to a behind-the-scenes look at Intern Edition Fall 2004!
Intern Edition (IE) is an audio show produced entirely by NPR interns. IE is created with a newsmagazine format, and features original stories, commentary and content.
Ten fall interns in Washington, D.C., focused their creative energy on bringing stories, issues and insights about the world around us into perspective. We are using this space to share our experiences, news -- and our passion for public radio.

Alison Klayman's story, "Bemoaning the End of the Phish Road Trip," aired on All Things Considered on August 11, 2004.
Information Technology intern Tiffany Reed, fresh out of Florida A & M University,
has landed a job at Lockheed Martin as a computer operations associate analyst. At NPR this summer, Reed has become an IT trainer and technical guide to some of NPR's well known voices.
Day to Day intern Julie Yen joined an NPR reporter covering an exhibit at a local science center.
This entailed spending an afternoon with more than 200 dead bodies -- and taking their pictures for the NPR Web site.
