We’ve created this website for you. There is nothing that
delights us more than to have you browsing about. Look around
a bit. Perk your ears to sounds. Click a couple of links.
Traverse our little universe of sound and sight, thought
and talk. Get a feel for the next generation of reporters,
producers and all around go-gettin’ journalists.
This
group of interns have taken on two additional projects:
The Intern Edition Newscast and Environmental Responsibility.
First, we’ve created the Intern Edition Newscast Unit. This
unit will produce an NPR-Style Newscast the day of our premier.
The Unit will produce the Newscast from beginning to end.
The one main difference the IE Newscast will have from the
NPR Newscast is that it will also include a local section
which will focus on NPR-related news.
Second, we’ve decided to take responsibility for our environmental
impact. Intern Edition Fall 2007 is striving to be a carbon-neutral
endeavor. We are going to be using a part of our budget
to offset our carbon emissions. Check out our green page
for green ideas. And see what we’re doing reduce our carbon
footprint.
