Jen Parker is a person who tries to live up to the crisp sounds in her name. She enjoys playing with cats, arguing with men, and opening wine bottles. Her future ambitions are to pursue a postgraduate degree and continue writing as a profession. She loves Venice, Italy and has never owned a Barbie Doll. Her hobbies include singing in her car and making up stories inspired by her observations as a subway people-watcher. As an intern she’s been reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace, enjoying D.C.’s Chinatown, and frequenting the Fado Irish Pub, where she likes to eat. Jen started listening to NPR as a girl in the car and her favorite program is—you guessed it—All Things Considered.
