After a lifelong interest in the media, specifically radio, and a longtime affinity to public radio, working for NPR is a fantastic opportunity for Chris. Originally from Denver, Chris attends Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he studies economics and business strategy. During the school year, he volunteers for the local NPR member station, WDIY-FM, as local host and newscaster during All Things Considered one evening a week, and tries to stay involved in the radio industry however he can. At NPR, Chris is working with the Business Development group, working on developing new revenue streams for the company using NPR content and leveraging the company's brands. Chris presently does freelance voiceover and consulting work for small media clients, and hopes to attend law school after graduating from Lehigh in May 2003. Eventually he hopes to pursue a fulltime career in the media business. When not working or thinking about radio (which is not that often!). Chris enjoys traveling, outdoor photography, and writing.
