Tenikka Greene
Born and raised in Maryland, Tenikka Greene discovered her interest in public relations during a career development class at the University of Maryland. From that semester on, Tenikka has been hard at work gaining experience to enhance her career. She interns year-round at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation within the consumer affairs division. With hopes of a new challenge, Tenikka is interning in NPR's communication department this summer.

"My experience at NPR has been great. The work I have done and the knowledge I've gained from NPR staff reassures me that this is what I want to do with my degree, " says Tenikka.

Upon graduation from the University of Maryland in May 2003, Tenikka would like to work in public or media relations and possibly dabble in advertising. Her long-term goal is to one-day start her own public relations firm. In her free time, Tenikka enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. She is a member of a book club and mentors adolescent girls at New Creation Baptist Church. The youngest of six children, she lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her mother, father and her dog Brownie. View Tennika's resume.
