Welcome to the 2001 PRC Next Generation project. The week began with a series of teaching sessions which included Writing for Radio, Recording for Radio and Digital Audio Production. Check the schedule for video, pictures, and audio of some of the presentations. The group also had featured lunch speakers. NPR Sports Correspondent Tom Goldman and Harry Lin, Vice President for the Disney Internet Group and former public radio reporter gave great presentations.

The Next Generation project will produce daily newscasts beginning Wednesday, May 16, and wind up the week producing a 30-minute newsmagazine called "Fresh Perspective." NPR member stations KUOW and KPLU, as well as KNHC (C89.5FM), at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, are assisting the PRC project.
