Intern Edition July 9 Production Meeting

This meeting proved that interns are working collaboratively to make Intern Edition 2004 the best yet. There was a lot of energy in the room as interns reported on the progress of their contributions to the show: producers and reporters were wrapping up their interviews and sifting through hours of tape; editors and sound engineers were preparing for the following week's studio recordings; the communications team was sending press releases to the media; the webmaster and designer were anticipating the launch of the Web site next week; and the senior staff continued to guide the entire process. Next step: host auditions and selections.

With only 12 working days left before the airing of IE, the stress levels of reporter/producer teams are rising. However, as each team updated the group on their story, encouragement and suggestions were presented from all. The overall attitude of the meeting reflected that each intern is willing to help in any way possible.

It's going to be a wild ride for the next few weeks, but after today's meeting, it appears the interns are well on their way to an outstanding production.
