NPR and Bring Election Coverage Curricula To America's Classrooms via New Web Resource

New York and Washington, DC -- November 1, 2000: National Public Radio® (NPR®) and, a K-12 online education network, have launched Classroom Radio, an educational Web resource that brings NPR election coverage to America's classrooms. Using RealAudio, Classroom Radio ( combines NPR audio reports about Election 2000 and key, national issues from Morning Edition® with Bob Edwards, All Things Considered®and Talk of the Nation® with lesson plans for 5-12 grade students.
